Conference “Churchill 150”
To mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, the International Churchill Society Italy is hosting a conference in Rome at the Sala del Refettorio, Palazzo San Macuto, Chamber of Deputies, on Friday, November 29, at 5:00 PM. Attendees include Lorenzo Fontana, President of the Chamber of Deputies, Carlo Nordio, Minister of Justice, Daniele Capezzone, Editorial Director of Libero, and Simone Billi, President of the Committee for Italian Diaspora.
The event aims to honor the vital contribution of the British statesman to the cause of freedom in Europe and to strengthen ties between Italy and the United Kingdom, represented on this occasion by the British Ambassador, Lord Edward Llewellyn. Additionally, Lord Andrew Roberts, a world-renowned historian and acclaimed author of the biography Churchill: Walking with Destiny, will also participate.
